My friend and I got acrylic nails done at the super duper luxurious Sloan at Luxer Nail Lounge, and Lily and Mindy were amazing! From the moment we walked in, the space felt beautiful, relaxing, and completely high-end. The chairs are comfortable, the ambiance is modern and elegant, and every little detail makes the experience feel special. Lily and Mindy were both incredibly friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. They listened carefully to what we wanted and made sure our nails came out exactly how we imagined. The acrylics look flawless and feel strong and well-done. Beyond just the nails, the whole appointment felt pampering — we could really relax and enjoy ourselves. We left feeling completely refreshed, confident, and thrilled with our nails. If you’re looking for a luxurious, top-notch nail experience, I can’t recommend Lily, Mindy, and the Sloan enough! ~ kayla s

I was actually in the salon when this happened, and honestly the staff was not rude at all. It was Mother’s Day. One of the busiest times for any nail salon. A lot of people book their appointments in advance for holidays, so walking in and expecting immediate service isn’t always realistic. From what I saw, the employees were trying their best to accommodate everyone while being extremely busy. Miscommunication can happen on hectic days, but that does not mean the staff was being intentionally rude or disrespectful. I also think it’s unfair to try to damage a small business over not getting your way on one of the busiest days of the year. First impressions matter, but so does understanding that salons can only take so many clients at once, especially when many customers planned ahead and booked appointments in advance. I’ve been here multiple times and have always had a positive experience with the staff and service. ❤️ ~ Frank B

I can’t say enough good things about Lily at Luxer Nail Lounge in Wayzata. Not only is she my mom, but I’ve also seen firsthand how much passion and care she puts into her work. Every client who sits in her chair gets her full attention, and she makes sure they leave feeling pampered and happy with the results. Her pedicures are incredibly detailed — she’s gentle, thorough, and always leaves your feet feeling refreshed and looking great. What I admire most about her is the way she connects with people. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and creates such a comfortable atmosphere that you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Just got a men’s manicure at Luxer Nails and I’m seriously impressed! From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and really took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. You can tell they care about the details and take pride in their work. This is a hidden gem. I went to this salon at the recommendation of a friend after doing the same thing countless other times. Lily has changed my nail routine for the better!! I went in for a dip and came out with builder gel after some welcome education and discussion. Lily and all the wonderful men and women of the salon take pride in the cleanliness and friendliness of their space. While they do book up so it is recommended you make an appointment especially if you want a specific stylist, service or time slot they do take walk ins which is nice. It is a large space so perfect for girls night or bridal parties too. If you do fancy art - Lily can copy just about anything! I am just a simple girl but am blown away by some of her art. Here are a few examples of her work. The dark blue, white & gold floral was for my son’s wedding Lily out did her self! Everyone loved them! This salon is in the strip mall by Lunds in Wayzata. It is easy to miss as it blends in with the building. It is closer to the road walgreens than Lunds. ~ Tassy H

I tried Luxor Nail Salon in Wayzata for the first time today. I scheduled the rose petal pedicure with nail tech Lily. What a wonderful experience! Lily has a pleasant and welcoming personality. She is a perfectionist, and really wants you to enjoy your service and have it completed to your liking. Lily did a fantastic job not only with my nails, but provided a wonderful leg and foot massage as well. I most definitely plan to return to Luxor and book my services with Lily again. Lily does a phenomenal job every single time! She always makes my nails look great, she takes her time and never rushes! 10/10 recommend Lily! Thank you again Lily for making my nails look amazing! I was at the salon during a situation that I later saw mentioned in a review, and I feel it’s important to share what I personally witnessed. The nail technician kindly said she couldn’t pick the client’s color. It was not said in a rude or disrespectful way. She simply explained that choosing a nail color is very personal and that she prefers clients to make their own final decision. Color choice can be subjective — what looks good to one person may not feel right once it’s applied. If a technician fully chooses for someone and they end up not liking it, the technician can be blamed. From what I saw, she was protecting herself professionally, not being rude. The salon was clean and organized, and the staff handled the situation calmly. They even had another technician step in to make sure the client was accommodated, which shows they care about customer satisfaction. Based on what I experienced, the team was professional and respectful. I believe it’s important to consider the full context before leaving a review that could affect someone’s business. Fabulous service!! I was able to book an appointment the same day. The salon is very nice and clean. Everyone that works there is so friendly and welcoming. I cannot remember the name of my technician, but she was wonderful and explained all the different products and ways I could have my nails done because I’m just not good with that stuff. I had the pleasure of being able to celebrate the Grand Opening here at the Wayzata location today. I was lucky #20 in line! The Nail Salon is clean and well organized, the Nail Technician was very attentive and did a great job on my gel manicure! I called ahead to make an appointment, it was a quick phone call and i got my appointment scheduled for 40 minutes after. I walked in and was immediately greeted, sat and being asked what design I would like for my nails. Vincent was my nail tech, he was friendly, concentrated, confident and delicate during the entire process and not to mention he did a beautiful job! Thank you!!! ~ Nevaeh L

The salon is new, nicely set up/decorated and very clean. I had a Dazzle Dry manicure with Lily and she did a great job. The hand/arm massage included with the manicure was awesome. Lily also offers shoulder massages and full body massages for an extra fee. I had a ten minute shoulder massage that had me melting in my chair! Highly recommend Lily and the salon. I decided to try a new nail salon for convenience, and it didn't disappoint. They were a little more expensive, but the services provided more than made up for it. My expert was Lilly; she is an extremely caring and personable tech from Vietnam who made my experience fun, when it's usually just a chore. Lilly is a hard worker and has magical hands. I live in wayzata and this is the best nail salon in the area. I have been to them all in town and you can get in right away, easy parking great staff lovely environment. You can see the difference in my nail health because they use the best products! My daughter has had nail art completed here as well. Again, a must visit! ~ Lake G

I love Lily and Nora. I’ve done both builder gel (with Lily) and regular DND gel (with Nora) at Luxer, and I highly recommend both of them! I am quite particular, and they exceed my expectations.
