I can’t say enough good things about Lily at Luxer Nail Lounge in Wayzata. Not only is she my mom, but I’ve also seen firsthand how much passion and care she puts into her work. Every client who sits in her chair gets her full attention, and she makes sure they leave feeling pampered and happy with the results. Her pedicures are incredibly detailed — she’s gentle, thorough, and always leaves your feet feeling refreshed and looking great. What I admire most about her is the way she connects with people. She’s warm, easy to talk to, and creates such a comfortable atmosphere that you can just relax and enjoy yourself. I was actually in the salon when this happened, and honestly the staff was not rude at all. It was Mother’s Day. One of the busiest times for any nail salon. A lot of people book their appointments in advance for holidays, so walking in and expecting immediate service isn’t always realistic. From what I saw, the employees were trying their best to accommodate everyone while being extremely busy. Miscommunication can happen on hectic days, but that does not mean the staff was being intentionally rude or disrespectful. I also think it’s unfair to try to damage a small business over not getting your way on one of the busiest days of the year. First impressions matter, but so does understanding that salons can only take so many clients at once, especially when many customers planned ahead and booked appointments in advance. I’ve been here multiple times and have always had a positive experience with the staff and service. ❤️ ~ Frank B
My friend and I got acrylic nails done at the super duper luxurious Sloan at Luxer Nail Lounge, and Lily and Mindy were amazing! From the moment we walked in, the space felt beautiful, relaxing, and completely high-end. The chairs are comfortable, the ambiance is modern and elegant, and every little detail makes the experience feel special. Lily and Mindy were both incredibly friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. They listened carefully to what we wanted and made sure our nails came out exactly how we imagined. The acrylics look flawless and feel strong and well-done. Beyond just the nails, the whole appointment felt pampering — we could really relax and enjoy ourselves. We left feeling completely refreshed, confident, and thrilled with our nails.
